Hot Crab Dip

With football playoffs underway - the quest for new game time snacks is always on my mind.  The typical chili, buffalo wings, and nachos are always great but here's a great idea for a dip that will impress and is also delicious (especially with a nice cold beer!) This Hot Crab Dip is simple and will taste like you slaved over it for hours.

Hot Crab Dip
1 lb Crab Meat
8 oz. Cream Cheese
3/4 cup Sour Cream
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Parsley
1 tsp Mustard
1 Tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

>For the crab meat -- I used imitations crab, which in this recipe words perfectly. I know by the name, it may sound gross but in fact it tastes just like crab, and it about 1/5 of the price. Chop up your crab into small bite-sized pieces.

>In a large bowl, mix ALL the ingredients together. If you want it even creamier than this, add more sour cream to the mix.

>Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees and cook in a Pyrex dish for about 20-25 minutes

 >And you're done! I served mine with crackers and slice of baguette!

This is a great alternative to any of your typical dips served at game time.  The saltiness of the crab mixes great with a beer and the creaminess is addictive. Enjoy!
