My dear dear FoodSAZm readers....I have not forgotten about you, nor have I lost the passion for cooking, in fact it's become quite the opposite. In working so diligently on FoodSAZm the past few years, I decided I needed to take it to the next level. While a blog is all well and good, you may have noticed that the number of food blogs out there is astonishingly large....and for the most part, blogging is a hobby (read: you make no money from it). While I am a complete Capitalist, I do realize one does not have to make money from everything they do, however, it doesn't hurt....I have an expensive bag fetish that someone needs to pay for....
So in thinking about joining my love for cooking and my career as a Photographer & Retoucher, I came up with the idea of compiling all of my recipes (and many more) into a physical cookbook. I know that in the world of eBooks now, the idea of a physical book may seem ancient, however, I find the ONLY type of books I would buy nowadays in it's physical form would be a cookbook. Have you ever tried to read a recipe off a computer or iPad while cooking with messy fingers touching your keyboard? Or need to print out a recipe and not have access to a printer? Well these are just some of the many reasons I feel a cookbook would be a great jumping off point for FoodSAZm.
So in the past few weeks I have compiled an extensive list of my favorite recipes, some from FoodSAZm, some very new ones, some I've never cooked, some I've cooked but never blogged....you get the idea... I am perfecting each recipe and then photographing the finished product in a style that is more fit for a cookbook, not a blog. The cookbook is inspired by my love for New York City, and the inspiration it gives me in the kitchen - therefore, like FoodSAZm, this cookbook will have a very diverse range in genres, styles, and courses for your palate to divulge.
I am looking for even more inspiration as to specific dishes or even beverages YOU would like to see made in my book! Please email any comment/suggestions/ideas to smbojarski@gmail.com Or you can 'like" FoodSAZm on facebook and write on it's wall!
I will be updating FoodSAZm more frequently with cookbook spoilers, updates and recipes that won't make it into the book! Keep cooking :)
