Sesame Green Beans

I love finding new ways to spice up my favorite vegetables. Green Beans are probably one of my top 3 faves, so I needed to try something a little more interesting than just boiling them in water and seasoning with a little pat of butter.  I decided to go Asian style with these, because let's face it, the Chinese know how to make vegetables taste incredible. Not to mention I have an affinity for anything garnished with Sesame Seeds....I know, I have strange joys in life.  This recipe is SUPER easy and fast, and can really accompany any meat dish - a steak would be a great pairing (and some sake)!

Saz's Sesame Greean Beans
1 lb. Green Beans
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Honey
1/8 tsp Ground Ginger
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
Sesame Seeds to garnish

>Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.  In a baking dish, toss your green beans in the Olive Oil.  You don't need much, just a little to coat them. Cook for 10 minutes.
>While they're cooking, mix together your honey, ginger, garlic and sesame oil thoroughly.
>After the 10 minutes of cooking, remove the green means from the oven and pour your marinade on top.  Toss well, as to coat all the green beans evenly.  Once coated, top with sesame seeds.
>Cook for another 10 minutes & serve!

As you can see, super fast, super easy and extremely delicious - we practically had NO leftovers with a whole pound of green beans between the two of us!
ENJOY!
